A local favourite, The Broadway Hotel has come to market, with the leasehold interest in the Glenelg South pub being offered for the first time in over a decade, and in the midst of a highly transactive period for the South Australian pub Market. The Broadway Hotel is being exclusively offered for sale by JLL Hotels’ Will Connolly via a national Expressions of Interest process.
Recently renovated, the hotel is presented in excellent condition throughout and offers a range of trading zones which include a large, light-filled, family-friendly bistro, a newly introduced beer garden and fully equipped commercial kitchen along with a gaming room housing 32 electronic gaming machines.
Will Connolly, Senior Vice President of JLL Hotels, expects a flurry of operator interest for The Broadway. “The Broadway Hotel now comes to market at a time where appetite for inner Adelaide hotels with a favourable mix of food, beverage and gaming revenue continues to be sought after. The Broadway certainly meets these parameters whilst offering genuine upside to an operator seeking to bring the venue to its next level,” Connolly said.

The public offering of The Broadway Hotel is set to continue yet another strong year of transactional activity for the SA pub market, with over $90 million of pub sales conducted by JLL, including the Highbury Hotel and Village Tavern earlier this year, along with recent sales such as the Republic Hotel, Norwood, Links Hotel, Seaton and the Willaston Hotel respectively.
Expressions of Interest are being sought by Thursday 2 November at 5pm (AEDT).
