Privately-owned Wavi Island is the latest development to join the exotic property raffle trend with its Australian owner intending to raffle five villas.
This Fijian villa raffle is the most alluring of all giveaways with its undisclosed Australian owner intending to raffle five villas in total.
The winner is to be drawn three days after 300,000 tickets are sold, with the cost of tickets being AU$25.
Developer Lang Walker’s resort Kokomo Island is near the property where the three bedroom villas cost up to $4,995 per night. Tony Robbins, the author and motivational coach, owns Namale Resort Spa, the resort next door to Wavi Island.
The winners can live in the villa full time or lease it out for holiday accommodation with each Villa valued at US$5 million (AU$6.7 million).
"Seeing the success of other property raffles, the Wavi Island owner has acquired the world-wide licenses to proceed with a raffle," spokeswomen Lynn Malone said.
The owners will be donating some raffle funds to the local community in consultation with the Tui Nasavusavu, Chief of the Savusavu region.
Visit the Wavi Island website for more information and to purchase a ticket.
