Quick Project Facts
The hotel was delivered under a design and construct contract for QIC, following Probuild’s completion of the $500M+ Eastland Shopping Centre Redevelopment in 2016.
“We’re incredibly proud to have delivered Victoria’s first retail destination hotel,” said Probuild’s Victorian Managing Director, Luke Stambolis.
“We’re building a number of large-scale luxury hotels around the country, including The Ritz Carlton in Melbourne and Perth and The Star Gold Coast. It’s been fantastic to combine this and our mixed-use experience with a project such as Sage Hotel Ringwood.”
Probuild drew on its unparalleled experience constructing in live environments, building the Hotel above the fully operational shopping centre, avoiding disruption to tenants and customers.
Probuild’s September handover allowed Next Story Group four weeks of preparation to ensure a smooth opening day and first-class experience for guests.
