Offering personal billiard and karaoke rooms, private gyms and even a butler service, The Star Entertainment Group’s new luxury hotel on the Gold Coast will help drive tourism and benefit the local economy.
The Star Entertainment Group is opening a new luxury hotel, The Darling at Broadbeach, with their existing hotel to be re-named the The Star Grand. The Darling is expected to open before the Commonwealth Games, in March, 2018. The hotel will have 57 luxury suites, all with large balconies, sized from 70 to 328 square metres, and will create around 500 construction roles over the next few years.
The new hotel will offer suites with a billiard room, a karaoke room, or even a private gymnasium. Helping to create a memorable hotel experience, The Darling will also offer a butler service with a gourmet selection.
The rooftop will have an ocean-view infinity pool with a high end restaurant and lounge bar.
The Star Entertainment Group Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg said the “premium” product would compliment the existing, newly renovated Star Hotel.
“This will be next level. It will be personalised and sophisticated and the staff will really engage the customer for that extra special touch. It’s the little things that will really make it a different experience than what people might be used to. It has its own arrival experience, amenities, and an alluring personality. It will be a level of sophistication the Gold Coast has never seen before.”
Multi award-winning sister hotel The Darling at The Star Sydney is the first hotel in New South Wales to be awarded a Forbes Five-Star rating.
An investment of up to $850 million is predicted to cover the refurbishments of the The Star Grand, plus the new suite hotel and the proposed hotel and residential tower developments.
