AccorHotels has completed its $5 million upgrade of the Mercure Penrith, undertaken by Mostaghim and Associates and Bespoke Interior Solutions, who now invite guests to be the first to experience the hotel’s newly refurbished guest rooms.
The $5 million upgrade has seen each guest room optimised in order to deliver the best in functionality and flexibility for guests. For example, standard beds have been replaced with extra-long beds and ambient lighting solutions have been installed to suit different areas of rooms including warm lighting in bedrooms and backlit mirrors in bathrooms.
Mercure Penrith is a popular choice for business travellers, and to cater to these guests spacious desks, envelope laptop tables and plentiful USB ports are now available in room.
General Manager, Kellie Stapleton, said the hotel’s new look rooms were designed based on guest feedback and have already been well received.
“We are pleased to welcome guests to stay in the newly refurbished Mercure Penrith. The refreshed design of each room has been executed with an emphasis on feedback from our guests about what make makes a hotel feel like a home away from home. As such, the refurbishment includes state of the art televisions, new art work featuring a natural colour palate and easy chairs for relaxing.”
The upgrade was completed under the creative direction of Mostaghim and Associates and Bespoke Interior Solutions.
Mercure Penrith is located in Western Sydney, at the base of the Blue Mountains and is next door to Penrith Panthers World of Entertainment.
