The City of Sydney council has received a concept proposal for Bligh House in the Sydney CBD to transform the site into a brand new hotel skyscraper.
Bligh House at the northern end of the Sydney CBD would be turned into a soaring 205m, 55 storey skyscraper with the proposal prepared by Architectus.
An affordable luxury & lifestyle hotel is expected by the design with a rating ranging from 4 to 5 stars.
Should the concept go ahead, Architectus may see some competition for the final design of the tower which is being slated as the Bligh Hotel Tower.
The site at 4-6 Bligh Street boarders Circular Quay which has a number of new developments planned including Quay Quarter Tower, The Circular Quay Tower & the Sydney Wanda One Tower.
