The highly anticipated 165-room, seven storey Atura Adelaide Airport Hotel will open next month on the first of September, which will service the eight million passengers flying into one of the nation’s fastest growing international airports.
Urban, industrial, and with design at its core, the multi-million dollar Atura Adelaide will service the eight million passengers flying into one of the nation’s fastest growing international airports.
Adelaide Airport has also recently announced a $165 million expansion of its main terminal, significantly improving the arrival and departure experience for international passengers - expected to be completed by 2021.

Offering unparalleled access for both airport passengers and staff, a direct walkway links Atura Adelaide with the airport’s domestic and international check-in areas.
The design-driven hotel will feature 165 guestrooms, Hangar Bar & Grill, a business centre, eight flexible function and meeting spaces, on-site gym, plus a port-cochere for guest drop off and collection.
Atura’s signature, free-flowing communal spaces will be a key design feature of the hotel and integrate seamlessly with the airport plaza and terminal; with spaces accessible to all travellers not just hotel guests.
Event Hospitality and Entertainment’s Director of Hotels, Norman Arundel, said Adelaide is the first Australian airport to welcome the Atura Hotel brand with the project estimated to have created 350 construction jobs and 65 roles within the hotel. Other Atura hotels are trading successfully in Albury, Blacktown and Dandenong with additional locations in the pipeline.
“Adelaide is a vibrant city, home to an incredible food and wine scene, fabulous beaches, and a wealth of cultural events. The airport has grown substantially in recent years and passengers demand the convenience of a close hotel,” he said.
“Atura Adelaide Airport will provide travellers the opportunity to experience the Atura philosophy of value-driven urban design and great local hospitality. We’re also looking forward to welcoming the airport community of staff into the Hangar Bar and Grill to enjoy our quality food and beverage.”
Well versed in the needs of modern business and leisure travellers, Atura Adelaide Airport will have 24-hour reception and free WiFi, and all rooms will be furnished with EVENT’s signature Dream Beds.
