Being the largest hotel property in the Choice Hotels Asia-Pac Australia network, located at 285 Great Eastern Highway in Belmont, Western Australia, the four-star hotel will begin welcoming guests from 1 December following a $50 million redevelopment.

Formerly Comfort Inn Bel Eyre Perth, the new property will launch with a new name – Ingot Hotel Perth – and will be branded as an Ascend Hotel Collection member in a franchise partnership with Choice Hotels Asia-Pac.

The 214-room hotel will offer premium amenities including 24-hour reception, a fitness centre, an outdoor heated pool, function and conference facilities and a restaurant and lounge area. Each of the contemporary-designed guest rooms will feature superior bedding, work desks and flat-screen TVs, and the selection of one-bed family-sized rooms will be fully self-contained with kitchen and laundry facilities.

Conveniently located just minutes from Perth Airport, 7 km to Perth’s CBD and a short drive to leading local attractions including Optus Stadium, Swan Valley, Ascot Racecourse and the newly opened DFO Perth, the hotel is well suited for both business and leisure itineraries.

General Manager of Ingot Hotel Perth, Paul Rogers, said the hotel’s central location and its proximity to the airport will make it popular with both corporate travellers and tourists seeking quality accommodation.

Ingot Hotel Perth will be the first hotel in Western Australia to join Choice Hotels Asia-Pac’s Ascend Hotel Collection portfolio, a premium network of centrally located, boutique hotels.

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, franchisor of the Ascend Hotel Collection, Clarion, Quality, Comfort Inn and EconoLodge hotel brands, has a pipeline of a further three properties that are scheduled to open across Australia and New Zealand before the end of 2019 including Quality Hotel Flemington, Quality Hotel Lakeside Bendigo and Clarion Suites Christchurch.

Ingot Hotel Perth is now taking bookings ahead of its opening on 1 December 2018.
