Byron Bay based private accommodation specialists, A Perfect Stay, has acquired the Melbourne-based Boutique Stays business, adding 65 properties to its existing network.
Byron Bay private accommodation company A Perfect Stay has increased its portfolio to more than 300 properties along Australia's east coast after acquiring Melbourne-based business Boutique Stays.
Started in 2004 by husband and wife team Sonya and Garth Brien, what initially began as Byron Bay Holiday Rentals has since gone on to experience extensive growth, predominantly in the South East Queensland / Northern NSW catchment.
With the Boutique Stays acquisition, the company is now expanding into Victoria with plans for further growth across Australia - prompting the company name change to A Perfect Stay to reflect this.
The company has accommodated more than 160,000 guests since its inception and booked over 910,000 guest nights.
National Marketing Manager, Angela Spehr said the company was on track to hit its millionth guest night by the end of this year.
"We’ve seen exponential organic growth since establishing the business in 2004," she said.
"We put this down to the fact that Australians want a ‘perfect’ getaway without dealing with cancelled bookings and false advertisements.
"Both guests and homeowners want professionalism and reliability when booking a holiday and this is reflected by the growing number of guest bookings with us every year."
A Perfect Stay’s network of 300 properties are located in destinations across the east coast of Australia, including Byron Bay, Lennox Head, Scotts Head, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Sydney, Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
