Everyone loves going on a holiday but for pet owners, there is one small downside - where their furry family member will stay.

Zagame’s House in Melbourne doesn’t discriminate, which is why the newly opened boutique hotel is making its plush rooms available to pets with paws, claws, and everything in between.

• Zagame's House has announced new 'fur-friendly' accommodation, allowing people to bring their animal (from dog to sloth) to stay with them at the hotel.
• The hotel will also offer several bespoke services to pamper the pets, such as an exclusive in-room dining menu for pets, a goodie bag and services such as pet walking.
• To celebrate, the hotel has commenced its search for “Zagame’s House’s Top Fur Model", an online competition to find the first pet to check into the hotel and star in a promotional campaign.

Aside from guests being able to enjoy Melbourne with their pet right by their side, all companions will be treated to several bespoke services at the hotel.

This includes A “Treat Yo Fur-baby” bag of goodies, exclusive in-room dining menu for pets, a “Furry Movie of the Month” as part of its free movie selection, bonding sessions with their Dog of the House, Hugo the Groodle (subject to availability) and exclusive access to special fur-friendly services via their partners, including pet walking, pet sitting, grooming, and personal training.

To celebrate the launch of the new Fur-Friendly accommodation, the hotel has commenced its search for “Zagame’s House’s Top Fur Model”.

The online competition, running throughout the month of October, asks proud pet owners to enter a photo and 100 words on why their favourite fluff ball is the fairest (or fluffiest) of them all. The winning prized pet member will be the first ever pet to check into Zagame’s House and star alongside their Dog of the House, Hugo the Groodle in the promotional campaign for the new Fur-Friendly facilities.

The winning pet and its parents will also receive two nights accommodation at Zagame’s House (including breakfast), a pampering session, and a complimentary photo and video shoot. 

Zagame’s House also has a worthy cause to partner with, donating $10 from every fur-friendly booking to The Lost Dogs’ Home, with plans for a longer term charitable partnership in the works.
