The Coogee Bay Hotel is set to debut new rooms as early as next month.
Sydney’s Coogee Bay Hotel is in the process of upgrading of its accommodation offering.
Designed by ID Studios, the $6 million makeover will incorporate a beach vibe while still taking into account the heritage of the building and its surroundings.
“We came up with a very personalized feeling that is retro chic, unexpected and playful, while set in a beautiful coastal environment,” ID Studios Director Vera McElroy said.
The newly upgraded rooms will be complemented by new in-room dining menu, a smart phone concierge and free hi-speed wi-fi.
The Heritage Rooms will be ready to launch mid-December, while the 51 Boutique Rooms are expected to be completed by winter season 2020.
Accommodation and Sales General Manager Kun Rahadian said the finished product would provide a more compelling offer to the hotel's conferencing clients.
“We are excited to be investing in a new and innovative hotel offering, welcoming guests while reinvigorating Coogee as a destination for leisure and corporate travellers,” he said.
“Renovating the hotel both physically and with upgraded in-room offerings, we plan on delivering extraordinary guest experiences each and every time and are looking forward to re-introducing ourselves to new and existing guests starting from the end of this year.”
