JLL Hotels and Hospitality will auction more than $20,000 of prizes next month with all proceeds going to the bushfire relief effort.
JLL Hotels and Hospitality will harness the strength and spirit of the bushfire relief effort next month when they hold a charity auction in Sydney.
More than $20,000 worth of prizes is set to go under the hammer as part of the event, with all proceeds going to the Salvation Army support firefighters, communities and providing meals and accommodation for those who have lost everything.
Organiser and Group Vice President, Tom Gibson, said the idea came from wanting to help any way they could.
"We are very well connected in a very shallow market, so this is a good way for us to do our part," he said.
"The group has some pretty amazing clients across the country and it's not too hard to make a few phone calls to ask for some accommodation prizes.
"Once I got back from break last week, I thought it was good time to organise it."
Prizes on offer include accommodation packages for Tasmania, Fiji, Cairns, and Sydney, as well as Australian sporting memorabilia.
The JLL Bushfire Charity auction will be held at the Buena Vista Hotel in Mosman from 6pm on February 4.
