BWH Hotel Group and property developer iHHL have announced that Aiden by Best Western at Darling Harbour will be opening in late 2020.
BWH Hotel Group is bringing its brand of boutique suburban hotels to Australia, with the announcement of Aiden by Best Western at Darling Harbour.
Delivered in conjunction with property developer iHHL, the 88-room property will be crafted from a refurbished 1930s art deco building located on the western side of Darling Harbour, and include café, bar and retail shop on the ground floor.
BWH Hotel Group Australasia Managing Director Graham Perry said the waterside precinct was the ideal location for the eight-storey venue.

“We’re delighted to be partnering with iHHL, who are undertaking the conversion of this iconic Sydney building which will become a superb lifestyle hotel offering high quality affordable accommodation for modern travellers," he said.
The new hotel will join a network of Aidens across France, Germany, Korea and the US that have been designed to "blend cool, casual charm with an eclectic neighbourly feel".
iHHL’s Nicolas Chen told WILLIAMS MEDIA the philosophy with the latest location was to put guest’s needs front and centre of all planning and development.

"We feel that customers these days are more well informed and discerning, and want something more than a traditional 3, 4 or 5-star hotel room – they want a modern experience that enables and enhances their current lifestyle, but not at great cost," he said.
"We want to fill that gap at a very affordable level.”
Aiden by Best Western at Darling Harbour will open later this year.
