Veriu Group officially launched its new 144-key micro apartment hotel in Sydney’s Green Square last week.
Veriu Green Square was showcased in all its glory last Thursday as part of an official opening.
Deputy Lord Mayor of Sydney Councillor Jess Scully was on hand to conduct the Official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony alongside representatives from Veriu Group, including Veriu Group CEO Zed Sanjana.
It comes after the announcement of the opening last November.
One of Sydney inner city’s most strategically important industrial and office precincts, Green Square is located at the convergence of Alexandria, Rosebery, Zetland, Beaconsfield and Waterloo.
Veriu Group CEO Zed Sanjana told WILLIAMS MEDIA the hotel had hit the ground running since its opening at the end of last year.
"Given the property’s strategically placed location, we have already, in these last few months, experienced the growing demand for corporate and leisure travellers seeking boutique, design-driven, flexible accommodation, for which Veriu Green Square’s micro-apartments are perfectly suited," he said.
"We look forward to growing with the region and welcoming new and returning guests in 2020 and beyond."

Veriu Green Square is the group's fifth property in Australia, joining a collection of boutique and loft- inspired hotels and suites in Camperdown, Broadway, Randwick and Central Sydney.
Spaces at the new location range from sophisticated Hotel Suites to Studio Micro-Apartments perfectly ‘suited and booted’ for longer stay solo travellers, to Family Micro-Apartments designed to sleep four people comfortably.

Designed by award-winning architect, Ashkan Mostaghim, Veriu Green Square pays homage to the history of the site on which it is built, which once hosted the original Australian Mercedes-Benz store.
Many design elements draw inspiration from the luxury and chic nature of the car brand.
The on-site Italian restaurant, Freddie Green’s, is shaping up to become the destination for big flavour Italian dishes made with fresh, locally-sourced produce.
