Quest Apartment Hotels has launched a new campaign inspired by the domestic travel opportunities now available to Australians.
Quest Apartment Hotels is encouraging Australians to see more of their own backyards as part of a new campaign.
Launched to coincide with the easing of intrastate leisure travel this month, On the Road Again incorporates a series of online itineraries, travel packages and road trip giveaways, as well as a local area marketing component dubbed ‘Local Heroes’, set to commence in July.
Quest Group Marketing and Digital Director, Jeff Baars, told WILLIAMS MEDIA research conducted by the company had shown that reconnecting with friends, family and clients was a key priority for consumers during COVID.
At a glance:
"For the last couple of months, we have closely monitored the easing of restrictions to develop a campaign we believe will resonate with our corporate and leisure travellers alike, imploring them both to hit the road, explore Australia’s beautiful backyard and get back to doing what they love," he said.
“On the Road Again aims to inspire Quest’s core audience, the corporate traveller, and leisure travellers alike to reconnect with friends, family and clients, capturing the promising sentiment that life is slowly but surely getting back on track."
Quest has remained open in all its locations throughout the global pandemic, with the franchise network responding to a variety of emerging accommodation needs in the public and private sector.
Chief Operating Officer David Mansfield while it had been a tough period for the industry, Quest's service proposition for extended stay travel was well suited to a number of requirements stemming from COVID-19.

"We’re proud to have kept our doors open and made ourselves available to help over the past few months," he said.
"Essential workers including doctors and nurses stayed with us and mining sector employees based themselves in our home away from home apartment hotels.
“On the Road Again is a national message with local relevance and individuality, which is important for our franchisees and the local communities they operate in."
