Workplace safety startup SafetyCulture is offering assistance to restaurants, cafes, caterers and hotels looking to safeguard against outbreaks.
As hotels, restaurants, pubs and bars reopen their doors, prioritising safety is essential in order to achieve and maintain a sustainable return to normality as well as to demonstrate a commitment to safety of both their customers and employees.
It is with this in mind that workplace startup SafetyCulture is offering free customisable ‘Return to Work’ templates.
Chief Operating Officer Alistair Venn told WILLIAMS MEDIA business owners were turning to technology to help guide them through the increased focus on health and safety in the workplace.
"Safety is now becoming a everyone’s competitive advantage, value, proposition and business critical procedure," he said.
"The old audit processes will not be up to the task when risks evolve on a daily basis," he said.
"A huge priority will be establishing an early warning system that provides real-time data and the transparency required for staff and customers to trust the new hospitality environment."

He added the industry needed to work together to implement consistent safety standards in order to survive and thrive into the future.
"Customers will heavily consider safety when deciding on where to dine and also empowering staff to ensure health and safety standards are being met," he said
"With hospitality employees being at the forefront of reopening safely, creating new processes for food handling, cash management, and customer interactions need to be top priorities for hospitality leaders during reopening.
"With public health and reopening guidelines changing every day, to ensure they’re up-to-speed with the latest guidance, hoteliers should implement simple digital checklists which can be updated in seconds and deployed to the entire workforce instantly."
