News of the renovation comes after the 193-room mixed-use resort was opened to Club Wyndham timeshare owners and resort guests last Wednesday following the COVID-19 shutdown.
Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, Procurement, Property Development and Technical Services, David Wray, told WILLIAMS MEDIA the refurbishment was part of a full program underway during 2020, which his team had worked hard to continue despite the challenges COVID-19 had presented.
"With close to 1,800 rooms across 10 countries in the Club Wyndham South Pacific portfolio, our property development team transforms hundreds of rooms annually," he said.

We have a strong belief in supporting the communities where we operate.
"Where possible, we endeavour to provide charitable organisations with our quality used furniture, which is typically well-maintained by both our vacation owners and on-site teams.”
Each resort apartment will feature an underwater photo of the Great Barrier Reef taken by an award-winning photographer, while the team is utilising the latest design trends by featuring contemporary wallpaper in the spacious Deluxe apartments.

Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific has also committed donate 1,500 pieces of furniture to local charity partner Lifeline.
The property has already enhanced its health and hygiene procedures while it has been closed, thanks in part to a partnership with global hygiene expert Ecolab.
