According to the ABS, the Isaac region has a Gross Regional Product of approximately $11.466 billion *AUD, with the local economy generating an estimated $18.683 billion in output, representing 44.5 per cent of the output generated in the Mackay – Issac – Whitsundays region (ABS June 2019 Gross State Product).
The three major industries underpinning the Issac Economy, as reported by the ABS, are mining ($15,610.630 million), manufacturing ($550.100 million) and construction ($411.996 million).

“Clermont generates an estimated $2.043 billion in output which accounts for 10.9 per cent of the total economic output for the Issac region," he said.
"The industry sector with the largest contribution to economic output is mining with $1.519 billion accounting for 74.4 per cent of output in Clermont.
“The exciting part of this opportunity is that the mining sector is now starting to witness both growth and expansion and therefore businesses in these regions are expected to fair reasonably well for the short-medium term."

Mr Tsalikis said the Grand Hotel Motel’s prominent position made it a centrepiece of the town.
“The hotel offers a diverse range of facilities providing a strong base of revenue," he said.
“The yielding freehold opportunity will be suited to corporate groups, multi-venue operators as well as owner-operators,” he said.
