From 25 March to 3 May, W Brisbane will serve up a slice of everyone’s favourite European holiday destination, inviting locals and interstate guests to sip on an Aperol Spritz from its riverside location, igniting some seriously Mediterranean summer vibes.
We may be Australia bound for now but from Thursday to Sunday for five weeks W Brisbane will bring those European summer vibes alive. “Whilst international travel is still off the cards, we hope an Endless Summer will momentarily transport guests to another time and place, giving them a glimpse of what is to come”, said Laura Sharrad.
Inspired by the sea, delicious bites will include Hand Picked Mud Crab & Pickled Cucumber Fingers and the decadent Gnocco Fritto with Whipped Cod Roe. Sharrad has curated a menu which heroes Queensland’s fresh seasonal produce, “we’re so fortunate to have such beautiful summer ingredients still in season. Fresh local seafood and berries are quintessentially summer and I have naturally featured them in the menu for an Endless Summer”.
For drinks, Insta-worthy cocktails from the lord of the Spritz, including the refreshing Aperol Spritz, have been created to pair perfectly with the dishes to set the scene. To cleanse the palette, a fresh and bold combination of Campari & Blood Orange Granita with Yoghurt Gelato will be a sweet dream.
Prepare for W Brisbane’s Level Four oasis to be transformed into an Italian playground with umbrellas and sun lounges for guests to sit back, relax and sip on an Aperol Spritz. Styled to the nines, including oranges and lemons oozing from their baskets, olive trees and postcard inspired menus will be reminiscent to the cobblestone streets of Italy.
To top it all off, W Brisbane are giving two lucky people and their plus ones the chance to win a private cooking class with Laura. After lapping up her skills, winners can tantalise their taste buds and enjoy the fruits of their labour with lunch on WET Deck, all whilst taking in the stellar river views.
Don’t miss the chance to live up an Endless Summer at W Brisbane. Why not really continue the summer vibes with an ultimate Brissie staycation or sneaky weekend trip from cooler parts of Aus.
