This was in evidence at the grand opening celebration of Kimpton Margot Sydney in 2022 when a pair of llamas rubbed shoulders with other VIP guests in the grand, pillared lobby.

And following a year of pet stays, Kimpton Margot has welcomed over 500 four-legged guests through their doors.
All pets are welcomed by name and are accomodated free of charge.

Bruce Ryde, General Manager of Kimpton Margot Sydney told THE HOTEL CONVERSATION, "Our four-legged guests have included over 400 dogs, 100 cats, two bunnies and even an Iguana. Kimpton has everything to keep a four-legged family member happy."
Bruce is often spotted with his furry assistant, 'Roxie Hart' in tow.
"Roxie loves coming to work two or three times a week. After checking up on everyone in both back and front of house she enjoys a break with her favourite snacks from 'The Pantry'.

There are a selection of hotel amenities and extras including the use of a plush pet-bed, food, water bowls and mats.
A concierge list of nearby pet-friendly restaurants, parks, groomers, and pet boutiques will keep even the most discerning pet happy.
Door hangers alert other hotel guests and staff that a cat, dog, or other beloved pet is in the room and may not wish to be disturbed.

Hyde Park: Just 200m up the road, an easy 3 minute stroll and the closest place to feel the grass beneath the paws. Dogs, just make sure you keep your human leashed-they're not allowed to explore on their own here. This is Roxie's favourite place to take a break from her hotel duties.
Cook + Philip Park: Cnr William St ,only 550m away, roughly a 7 minute walk. Fur friends can get unleashed and run amok! Why? Because they can! Just keep them clear of the playground and pool areas.
Harmony Park: A cute 850m, 11 minute walk through Surry Hills. Sit on a cozy bench while your four legged friend feels the wind in their fur while they run free!
