Choice Hotels Asia-Pac has announced the winners of its highly coveted Hotel Of The Year awards for 2018, propelling them onto a global stage and amongst the competition for the International Awards Franchisee of the Year at Choice Hotels’ Annual Convention in Las Vegas in 2019.
The annual awards recognise the top-performing franchisees for exemplary customer experience within each of Choice Hotels Asia-Pac’s five brand categories: Ascend Hotel Collection, Clarion, Quality, Comfort and Econo Lodge.
The 2018 title holders span both regional and metro hotel properties in Australia:
Trent Fraser, Chief Executive Officer of Choice Hotels Asia-Pac, said the anticipated awards recognise and reward the efforts of hard-working franchisees who are dedicated to delivering an exceptional level of customer service and memorable guest experiences.
“Choice Hotels Asia-Pac is delighted to congratulate our Hotel of The Year winners for 2018 who have all demonstrated an outstanding hospitality experience. Our annual awards are a significant occasion for our business and provide us with the opportunity to thank our valued franchisees for their commitment and recognise those who go the extra mile for their guests”.

Each of the five award-winning franchisees will be rewarded with a luxury weekend getaway in Melbourne that will include helicopter transfers to the Yarra Valley for a long lunch experience.
Choice Hotels Asia-Pac has also announced its 28 Gold Award winning properties for 2018 – an esteemed title granted to franchisees who consistently receive outstanding feedback from guests and who are highly engaged in the group’s programs and initiatives. Customer service is key in the awards selection and Gold Award winning properties are measured on a ‘likelihood to recommend’ score which is calculated based on direct and verified customer feedback.
The yearly accolades are judged by a panel from Choice Hotels Asia-Pac’s executive team.
