The lobby reception desk at the East end of the hotel acts as a key focal point — a statement piece crafted from European Terrazzo with its imposing yet simple natural design creating an immediate confident and engaging impression. This is set against a vertical timber-slatted feature wall fabricated in natural oak, which establishes a contemporary tone to the hotel foyer. Bespoke lighting, subtle brass details, New Zealand art and lush greenery will be added along with key soft furniture elements to enhance the inviting atmosphere. Textures and patterns are executed throughout the Lobby spaces via detailing in European ceramic tiles, adding an exclusive and unexpected understated element. The hotel’s mid-century style is highlighted by a designer art-wall in the lift corner. This will be created expressly for The Logan, featuring a simple graphic pattern in black, grey and stone —
