Veriu has provided the latest addition to Sydney's ever-evolving Green Square precinct with the launch of a new micro-apartment hotel on Sunday.

The property is the company's fifth in Australia, having already established a presence in Camperdown, Broadway, Randwick and Central Sydney.

CEO Zed Sanjana said the opening of opening of Veriu Green Square strengthened the company's footing into the micro-apartment hotel space.

"Veriu Green Square offers spaces that surpass the traditional hotel room in terms of flexibility and making it the perfect accommodation option for our core target, the short and long stay corporate traveller,"

Designed by award-winning architect Ashkan Mostaghim, the new 144-room hotel is built on the original Australian store site of luxury auto trader, Mercedes- Benz, close to the heart of the new town centre.

In addition to the 'smart' rooms and suites, there is also a lobby lounge bar, on-site gym, as well as a conference room and dedicated workspaces for business travellers.

As with Veriu’s other 4 properties, the hotel features contemporary spaces, ranging from sophisticated Hotel Suites (including Accessible Hotel Suites for those with limited mobility) to Studio Micro-Apartments perfectly ‘suited and booted’ for longer stay solo travellers, to Family Micro-Apartments designed to sleep four people comfortably.

Veriu Green Square also includes an on-site Italian restaurant with a menu designed by one of Sydney chef James Metcalfe of JRM Hospitality.
