Hilton Brisbane’s best and brightest have battled it out at the annual Hilton Australasia Food and Beverage (F&B) Masters in Brisbane, with one of the hotel’s three finalists taking away a top accolade.
Some of Hilton's best bar and culinary creations across the Asia Pacific were showcased in Brisbane last week as part of the 2020 Australasian Food and Beverage Masters.
Thirty finalists from Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, delivered a series of masterpieces that were judged by a panel of experts from within Hilton and beyond, including Vittoria Coffee National Channel Manager, Mark Haj and Executive Chefs, David Vandenabeele, Sam Moore and Philip Nock.
Hilton Brisbane Team Member, Sophie Dewhurst took away the Barista Cup with her signature coffee, Rosella Delight - a blend of spresso, dark chocolate, Turkish delight and rose-inspired scents.

Hilton South East Queensland Area General Manager, Chris Partridge, said Ms Dewhurst was an example of the "incredible talent" the competition was designed to highlight.
“The event reflects the ongoing and meaningful career opportunities Hilton provides Team Members, to nurture their professional growth and development," he said.
"We have extraordinary talent across our F&B departments, so we want to inspire them to develop their skills and learn from other leaders in their disciplines."
In addition to prestige, the three winners of the Bar, Barista and Culinary Cups were awarded exclusive training and development experiences customised for each craft.
The Food and Beverage Masters concept first launched in Europe in 2011 and expanded to the Middle East and Africa region in 2012 before being launched across the Asia Pacific region in 2015.
