CBRE Hotels have been appointed to sell Byron Bay iconic food collective, The Farm via an expression of interest campaign.
The sale of a well known icon of an iconic location was always going to create interest but the marketing campaign for The Farm at Byron Bay has been taken to a new level this week, according to CBRE Hotels.
An expression of interest campaign was launched ten days ago for the food collective with the intention of targeting specific investors in an off-market fashion.
But news of the sale has since been reported by multiple media outlets, sparking increased enquiry.

CBRE Hotels National Director Wayne Bunz, who is also assisting with the sale of The Bower in Byron, told WILLIAMS MEDIA that while the "phone hadn't stopped ringing" in the aftermath of the media reports, the property was never going to be short of potential buyers.
"At the end of the day, it's a great listing," he said.
"There was already massive interest before the press got a hold of it, but now it has gone ballistic."
The Farm, which is located at the intersection of Ewingsdale Rd and the Pacific Highway, was launched five years ago by Tom Lane, the grandson of Oroton founder Boyd Lane, and his wife Emma.
Comprising 31 hectares of fresh food producers and eateries, the property attracts 500,000 visitors per annum and includes tenants such Three Blue Ducks, as well as a variety of other shops and cafes.

Mr Bunz said he expected overseas interest to feature prominently in the campaign, adding that a sale price in excess of $20 million was expected.
"Byron Bay is seen as a global destination now for tourism and leisure," he said.
"The likes of Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon holiday in Byron and it's built a reputation as one of the most instagrammable locations in the world."
The expressions of interest campaign for The Farm closes on February 26.
