The Langham, Gold Coast and The Jewel Residences, Gold Coast scheduled to open in early 2022. Clarke brings to the Hotel and Residences more than a decade of experience in 5-Star Hotel Sales & Marketing in the renowned Gold Coast market.

He has previously held senior roles with Accor & Marriott International.

In his most recent position at Sheraton Grand Mirage Gold Coast, Clarke was part of the leadership team and pivotal to the significant commercial success for ‘Mirage’ from 2017 to 2021. Clarke led the Covid-19 business recovery for the property which eclipsed all expectations.

Magestically located on the beachfront in Surfers Paradise, the luxurious Hotel and Residences are in the central and tallest of the three landmark towers of the Jewel complex - the first and largest absolute beachfront development built on the Gold Coast, Australia within the last 30 years.

Clarke, originally from Cambridge (UK), moved to Australia in 2003, where the hotel Sales & Marketing journey began with Accor, before moving to the Gold Coast in 2009.
