Construction company Hickory has just completed Australia’s first Hyatt Centric hotel, a $150 million Little Group development located at 9-27 Downie Street, Melbourne.
Designed by Architectus, with interiors by Hecker Guthrie, Hyatt Centric Melbourne consists of a six-level podium, backed by a 20-storey glass tower. The hotel features 278 contemporary guest rooms across 26 levels.
The state-of-the-art hotel exudes a cosmopolitan feel and is a reflection of Melbourne's vibrant street culture. This converged network also allows hotel staff to be immediately alerted to required maintenance, preventing interruptions to the guest experience.
