“We have invested in the Salisbury Hotel to ensure that the pub suits the local community,” says Tim O’Leary, Salisbury Hotel Venue Manager.
The Salisbury Hotel fully re-opens after a $1.6 million renovation that has added a fantastic new open Beer Garden, refreshed Sports Bar for the changing local community as well as refurbished accommodation rooms, both internally and externally.
Salisbury’s new look local will appeal to people of all ages and the new beer garden will be the perfect destination to celebrate Queensland’s great weather all-year-round. The beer garden caters to 108 people with two sections, one flowing from the bistro and the other from the sports bar. The live and friendly space reflects the bistro, which was previously renovated and is ideal for students, workers, local residents, families and those visiting the area.
The new, energetic sports bar will be the place to be for sports lovers, with all the big games played live and loud on the big screens and plenty of entertainment.
The family friendly bistro offers sizeable pub classics and new offerings to tantalise tastebuds. The menu includes favourites such as parmys, schnitzels, burgers and pizza alongside pork belly, cob loaf, fried pickles, loaded wedges, prawn linguine, spice pumpkin fritters and mushroom gnocchi.
The Salisbury Hotel will also be supporting local charity TAG 5 with its Local Heroes program, which will see $1 from the sale of every parmy on a Wednesday, every week, donated.
“We have invested in the Salisbury Hotel to ensure that the pub suits the local community,” says Tim O’Leary, Salisbury Hotel Venue Manager.
“A pub should be the heart of the community and we have seen an uptick in younger families and students moving into the area. This has meant more demand for a casual local and we are delivering that with a great new outdoor space, as well as an energetic sports bar driven by round the clock sports and live entertainment.
“The Salisbury Hotel will also be supporting local charity TAG 5 through its Local Heroes program. The charity enhances the lives of people with a disability and we are pleased to be able to contribute to a cause that brings the community closer together.”
