HTL Property have announced the successful sale of Lookout Mountain Retreat, located on Dorrigo Mountain, NSW.
HTL Property Directors James Carrick and Nic Simarro were exclusively appointed to market the property via an Expression of Interest campaign. The campaign generated seventy-two enquiries, a competitive second-round of bidding; and resulted in the sale of the Retreat to Anthony Parmenter; a local owner who also operates Lodge Bellingen.
Lookout Mountain Retreat offers twenty-six rooms plus Manager's residence, an eighty seat restaurant capable of conference events; and provides stunning views across its six-hectare land holding. The property is located within forty-five minutes’ drive of Coffs Harbour, and a short five minutes drive from the beautiful Village of Dorrigo.
Surrounding the property is a vast range of outdoor activities including Dangar Falls, Dorrigo National Park and the world heritage site, Gondwana Rainforest.
“Accommodation offerings that provide their clients with an experience or list of outdoor activities are high on the agenda for a number of investment groups we are currently dealing with” commented HTL Director James Carrick.
“Since the CV-19 related lockdowns, we have seen an overwhelming number of these parties seeking to reposition current regional accommodation in order to take advantage of experiences or pursue properties such as this one” concluded Carrick.
“There is no doubt the ‘experience economy’ is in full swing, and we aim to continue to accommodate our clients requests and needs with regard entry into this market’ stated HTL Property Director, Nic Simarro
“Whether it is five-star accommodation on large land parcels, cabins in the wilderness or a motel that can be converted into an experiential asset; we have a long list of investors we deal with daily looking to move their interests from typical regional accommodation into this newly created asset class' concluded Simarro.
