Fraser Short’s Sydney Collective has sold Windsor’s Fitzroy Hotel through HTL Property’s Blake Edwards and Sam Handy for an undisclosed amount.
Fraser Short’s Sydney Collective has sold Windsor’s Fitzroy Hotel to a highly regarded Sydney publican; only 12 months after purchasing the well known Sydney freehold hotel.
Bought in October 2021, the pub has been sold by HTL Property’s Blake Edwards and Sam Handy for an undisclosed amount.
“Good portfolio management means we are always looking transact, one way or another, if a compelling deal presents itself to us” advised Sydney Collective Founder, Fraser Short.
“We see opportunities to expand and contract our portfolio all the time, and HTL presented one such opportunity and we dealt without hesitation” Short concluded.
Having sold both the Fitzroy and Tate’s hotels to Sydney Collective in 2021, the experienced team at HTL were familiar with the relevant market participants in the North Western Sydney corridor.
“We’ve been fortunate to deal on a number of the significant pub transactions in North West Sydney, including the record sale of the Vineyard Hotel last year; hence we maintain an active relationship with the market in that and other areas” commented HTL Property Director, Blake Edwards.
“Our clients sold the Fitzroy Hotel at an attractive premium to book value, and we’re encouraged by the market’s continued capacity to close deals such as this one” concluded HTL Property Director, Sam Handy.
