Sydney’s Park Regis City Centre, part of the StayWell Holdings hotel property portfolio, has received an upgrade and new look. Part of StayWell’s development plans, Park Regis City Centre is the first in many planned upgrades across the portfolio, with Melbourne, Launceston and Pokolbin soon to follow.
The new look Park Regis features modern and contemporary decor and continues to focus on providing comfortable and practical accommodation in the heart of Sydney. Upgrades to the hotel include a new-look lobby and refurbished rooms with modern furniture and refreshed colour palettes. The new furniture and colours create a feeling of warmth and comfort with pops of bright yellow and splashes of soft pink and turquoise. 99 of the hotel’s 122 rooms have now been refurbed, with the final rooms to be completed by the end of 2022.
Already a highly popular hotel thanks to its central location, the Park Regis City Centre’s new look will further entice the younger market to stay and experience the modern aesthetic. With the best Sydney shopping centres, restaurants and cafes on the doorstep, the hotel appeals to both business and leisure guests. The hotel also features a rooftop pool and stunning views of Sydney’s iconic skyline.
The hotel upgrades come off the back of StayWell’s strong growth through the pandemic period and strong performance YoY, and updates to the Melbourne, Launceston, and Pokolbin properties will also be completed before the end of the year. With a focus on building the industry’s number one quality hotel chain, the next two years will see more hotels receiving upgrades and new hotels being added to the Australian portfolio.
