Marriott International (NASDAQ: MAR) has announced the signing of the agreement for Moxy Sydney Pitt Street, scheduled to open in August 2025. This signing comes only months following the opening of the landmark 301-room Moxy Sydney Airport, the first hotel for the spirited and experiential brand in Australia.
New-build Moxy Sydney Pitt Street expects to feature 314 rooms, located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD at 371 Pitt Street, offering convenient access to retail locations such as Pitt Street Mall and Martin Place plus a wide range of new and happening food and beverage venues. The Moxy hotel will also feature Sydney’s highest outdoor rooftop bar on level 34, as well as high street retail. Once opened, the hotel will join a growing collection of more than 140 Moxy hotels across the world and anticipates being Marriott International’s eighth hotel in the greater Sydney area.
