Leading hotel franchise group, Choice Hotels Asia-Pac has appointed Katy Frosdick as  Senior Manager, Development for Australia and New Zealand, marking an important step in  the business’ ongoing expansion and growth across the region. Frosdick will sit within the  Development team, responsible for building a pipeline of high-value deals and strategic  relationships.

An economist with a career spanning consultancy, network planning, and real estate, Katy  brings more than 15 years’ professional experience to Choice Hotels.

In the accommodation sector, Katy most recently served as Head of Portfolio Growth at  Urban Rest, where she focused on the company’s expansion and negotiated deals across markets in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Prior to this, she held the role of Network Planning & Optimisation Manager with Quest Apartment Hotels, where she was responsible  for network strategy and deal sourcing.

Katy’s diverse background includes a role as Network Planning Manager for Metcash’s  Independent Hardware Group, where she gained valuable experience in franchisee growth  and support — critical skills for her role with Choice Hotels.
