Abode Group Founder and Managing director Nick Georgalis has identified a huge gap in Canberra’s housing market for affordable, high-quality apartments. Georgalis has drawn on his travel experiences to be a strong advocate of high-density living.
“When you visit Rome, Paris and Athens, people live so close together, but there’s a vibrancy to that. We are focused on Canberra becoming an emerging city, we are very focused on providing high-rise apartment-living in town and city centres and creating precincts that provide that vibrancy of community,” says Georgalis, who this year will have 1500 apartments under construction and a further 2000 in the pipeline in Canberra.
