Resort Brokers have transacted what they believe to be the two largest management rights deals in 2017.
Firstly the sale of the management rights and a number of apartments in Metropolis Minor Group to be run as an 5 star Avani Hotel in April this year was a landmark transaction.
Settling this month, Resort Brokers have also sold the management rights for Oceanside Resort and Twin Towers in Mount Maunganui.
McGregor of Resort Brokers says “this was an unusual sale as it included management agreement in the two twin luxury towers, management rights over apartments in the low rise, a lease over 16 apartments on the ground floor and also included considerable property including the conference room, laundry, managers apartment, storage, and some carparks”.
The previous owners have been running the business for around 20 years and have run it since the property opened. The new owner is keen to increase the number of apartments under management and continue with the successful business model.
