Wellesley Hotel on the Lake (formerly known as Caboose) is a characteristic hotel complex built with imported Canadian timber giving it a distinct look and feel. It consists of 40 hotel rooms, restaurant, bar and conference facilities perfectly located on a visible corner site on Lake Terrace in central Taupo.

The hotel is semi-built around a sheltered and private pool area with a swimming pool and spa-pool.
