The Barkly Hotel Motel, located adjacent to the mine at 55 Barkly Highway, is being exclusively offered for sale via marketing agents Leon Alaban and Christian Tsalikis of Savills.
Senior Sales Executive, Christian Tsalikis, said the Barkly attracts repeat business from locals as well as visitors to the area, due to its location.

Director of Hotels, Leon Alaban, said Mount Isa is a strong regional centre with limited competition in the area.

The Hotel is situated on a 1.35 hectare site, located ideally within close proximity to the Mount Isa airport, and is subject to high vehicular exposure.
Mount Isa’s population is expected to almost double from 22,000 to 40,000 in the next 10 to 20 years.
Mr Tsalikis said the business should continue to grow whilst the population increases at a strong rate.
