Tourism Accommodation Australia (TAA) has welcomed the appointment of Phillipa Harrison as the new managing director of Tourism Australia.
TAA CEO Michael Johnson has welcomed the recent appointment of Phillipa Harrison as Tourism Australia's new managing director.
“Ms Harrison has a wealth of experience in the tourism sector and I look forward to working closely with her in coming months to help promote our industry," said Mr Johnson.

Almost 45,000 jobs have been created in the tourism sector over the past six years alone. Total tourist consumption was $143 billion, which resulted in $57.3 billion in GDP to the economy.
