Q&A with Jason Vogler, renowned Motel Broker and newest member of Ras360

The Hotel Conversation: Jason, congratulations on joining Ras360 Property Solutions. What inspired this move?
Jason Vogler: Thank you. After several successful years facilitating around 80 hospitality and accommodation transactions , I was ready for a new challenge. Ras360’s rebranding and expansion into the accommodation sector align perfectly with my aspirations. The opportunity to take on a senior role and shape my own success within this fast-growing company was a key motivator.

The Hotel Conversation: Ras360 has undergone significant changes recently. Can you elaborate on the company’s direction and vision?
Jason Vogler: Absolutely. Ras360, rebranded to reflect its evolution over the past 21 years. The company is now expanding its services to include the sale of hotels, motels, pubs, and caravan parks. They are the buzz company of the industry at the moment, so I wanted to be a part of the excitement and in a more senior role, I have been given the flexibility to shape my own success. This is really important to me. They have grown their team rapidly in the last 6-9 months. This strategic move aims to offer holistic property solutions, catering to a broader spectrum of the accommodation industry and I feel I can contribute to their success.

The Hotel Conversation: Could you share some notable career experiences?
Jason Vogler: While big transactions often grab attention, it’s the Mum and Dad operator deals where I’ve built a certain friendship with the vendors that resonate most. It’s this rapport that helps me to navigate challenging transactions through to settlement.  Getting tough deals through rigorous due diligence, has been incredibly rewarding.

The Hotel Conversation: What do you find most fulfilling about your role?
Jason Vogler: Building relationships and guiding clients through critical decisions is immensely satisfying. Having owned and operated motels myself, I understand the challenges and rewards, which allows me to provide tailored advice that helps clients achieve their goals. I also take the time to understand the difficulties newcomers to the industry face and link them with industry specialists to help develop their business skills.

Jason Vogler: My focus is on leveraging my industry expertise and network to drive Ras360’s expansion into new markets. By identifying emerging opportunities, and building strong client relationships, I aim to help establish Ras360 as a leader in the accommodation property sector.
