Ovolo’s Brisbane properties have welcomed an all-new management team as the city prepares for the future of tourism.
Ovolo Hotels, the award-winning boutique designer hotel collection, is continually strengthening their team by adding to their impressive portfolio some of the industry’s best talent. Ovolo’s Brisbane hotels, restaurants and bars welcome an all-new management team as the city prepares for the future of tourism.
Ovolo The Valley, located in the heart of cultural hub of Fortitude Valley, is just a short walk away from live music venues, rooftop cocktail lounges, art galleries and relaxing cafes. Art, music, and pop culture have been blended to create a unique and pleasing aesthetic throughout the hotel.
The Inchcolm By Ovolo, classically boutique, highlights neo-Georgian design with an edge that pays homage to the building’s time of prestige and resident physicians. With subtle hints of musical undertones and an air of rhapsody, consumers are invited to retreat, rendezvous, revel or all the above at The Inchcolm By Ovolo.
Nathan Dean, Ovolo’s newly appointed Brisbane Area General Manager, brings over 15 years of hotel management experience to the group. Leading some of the finest competitors in the industry, Nathan brings a wealth of knowledge from his roles. Including Front Office Manager at the Crown, Operations Manager at The Stamford, and General Manager at Ovolo’s very own Canberra property Ovolo Nishi.
Nathan now oversees Ovolo The Valley and works closely with The Inchcolm’s newly appointed General Manager, Roberto Russo. Roberto’s career has given him the opportunity to develop a wealth of experience in some of the world’s most unique hotels. Including from his role as a Hotel Director at the first and only Design Hotel in Malta, IBB Hotel Collection, and as General Manager at the first and largest Co-Living project in the world, The Collective Old Oak.
At the heart of any Ovolo is its food and drink experiences. Diana Montenegro, Ovolo’s newest Food & Beverage General Manager for Brisbane works alongside Nathan and Roberto in strengthening the Brisbane hospitality offering. Overseeing ZA ZA TA and Kazba Bar soulful Tel Aviv inspired experiences and The Inchcolm Bar which celebrates the golden age of dining.
Diana brings the depth of her experience and knowledge from one of Australia’s most recognised food and beverage group, Rockpool Dining Group. Diana’s most recent role was General Manager of Stanley at Brisbane’s newest dining precinct, Howard Smith Wharves.
“These exciting new appointments show our commitment to building the leadership ranks and growing our existing hotel business in Brisbane. Delighted to welcome Roberto and Diana to the Ovolo team under Nathan’s leadership”, says Ovolo’s Director of Operations Australia, Wayne Taranto.
