JLL (NYSE: JLL) today announced two key hires in Vietnam and Thailand to further solidify its market-leading Indochina hotel investment sales platform. The firm has tapped Tuan Nguyen to steer its hotel investment business in Vietnam as Senior Vice President and Head of Investment Sales, Vietnam, JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group. Victor Pang will join as Senior Regional Representative, Investment Sales, JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group, based in Thailand.

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Tuan’s arrival at JLL will reinforce the firm’s leading investment sales position in Vietnam, which is poised to recover strongly from the decline in tourism globally.

Tuan brings close to 20 years of industry experience to JLL. Most recently, Tuan was Head of Business Development at Accor based in Vietnam, a role he held for five years. In this position, he signed management contracts for approximately 40 hotels and branded residences across Vietnam, representing close to 13,000 keys.

Prior to Accor, Tuan worked with the MIK Group as Senior Manager Hospitality, where he coordinated the asset operational management of investment projects within Vietnam’s tourism real estate sector.

Victor was previously with Accor for 32 years. His most recent position was Head of Business Development Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos. Victor helped Accor grow its network from 30 to over 170 hotels in Thailand & Indochina, having commenced his work there in sales and marketing, pre-opening and operations, and subsequently promoted to business development where he remained for the past 20 years.

Victor and Tuan will partner closely with Bangkok-based Chakkrit Chakrabandhu Na Ayudhya (Paul), Executive Vice President, Investment Sales, Asia, to further integrate JLL’s Indochina investment sales platform.
