Michael Broome
Michael Broome delivers first-rate service and honest specialist advice, aiming to be a market leader when it comes to achieving exceptional results for clients. He brings a history of more than two decades working in property, during which time he owned and operated a real estate franchise for ten years. Added to this is a family history of owning numerous hotels, motels, and a golf course, and his experience is invaluable to his clients and his team.
For Michael, real estate is all about trust. He knows that every client and listing is different, and he is an expert at helping people to define their goals and then applying sound advice and strategies. He is proud to be a true vendors agent, continuously looking at how he can improve the way he delivers optimal outcomes by embracing new ideas, finding innovative solutions, and always going the extra mile. He is an accomplished auctioneer and associate member of the REINZ (AREINZ), where people are required to be nominated by industry peers.
Outside of work Michael enjoys giving back to the local community (he served three years on the Gulf Harbour School Board) and is a keen angler with a passion for fly-fishing in rivers and waterways.

Joel Everson
Joel comes to Bayleys HTL from a 12-year rugby career, including living in France (Top 14- Clermont), Japan (Top League), and other cities around New Zealand (NPC Canterbury, Crusaders, and Southland rugby teams).
Joel brings his relentless, hardworking, ‘can do’ attitude to his client’s real estate transactions. Pleased to offer a positive point of difference, Joel works in the Bayleys Hotels, Tourism, and Leisure sector, assisting people to get the absolute best return from their business sales transactions.
In delivering a high level of professionalism, Joel values accuracy and attention to detail. This enables him to design unique marketing plans. Being involved with online media (website design, social media, and Google AdWords), Joel has a firm understanding of the importance of online marketing and the results it can achieve when it comes to gaining exposure to the right potential buyers or lessees.
Outside of real estate, Joel remains connected to the world of rugby and plays for the Sydenham Rugby Club team. Via involvement with the New Zealand Rugby Union, he gives talks about mental health to other professional rugby teams around New Zealand. Joel has produced children’s books and has published one, with others in the pipeline. He also enjoys camping, hanging out at the beach, and hiking. A dedicated family man Joel loves spending time with his wife, Sophie, and their three children, Pippa, Billy, and George.
Mike Redman
Mike has joined the Bayleys Hotels, Tourism, and Leisure team after an extensive career, holding senior positions in banking, finance, insurance, and more recently business sales. He has been engaged by and successful in selling businesses across a wide spectrum, covering many different sectors.
Mike is excited to join Bayleys HTL and represent that team in the Wellington region. It is clear that the hotels, tourism, and leisure sector is undergoing rapid change and is gearing up to meet the surge in demand expected now that the Covid lockdowns and travel restrictions have been lifted.
Mike is keen to collaborate with lessees and lessors throughout the region and help transition new investors and operators into the industry.
Mike is a member of Rotary and was a Board Member of L’Arche New Zealand Incorporated, a disability service organisation based on the Kapiti Coast. Mike and his wife, Veronica, helped establish a preschool for impoverished Black children in Botswana, Africa over nine years. Mike’s qualifications include an ACMA and a cost and management accounting qualification. Mike is married with three children and nine grandchildren.
