JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group announced the launch of its dedicated Japan Advisory, Asset Management and Investment Sales Services in Osaka under the leadership of Hisao Uenishi, Senior Vice President and Kuniko Tsushima, Senior Vice President.
JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group announced the launch of its dedicated Japan Advisory, Asset Management and Investment Sales Services in Osaka.
Based in JLL’s Kansai Office and under the leadership of Hisao Uenishi, Senior Vice President and Kuniko Tsushima, Senior Vice President, JLL’s new offering will meet growing demand for a full suite of hotel solutions to clients in the Kansai and West Japan region.
Hisao Uenishi, Senior Vice President, has been appointed to lead the Osaka Hotels & Hospitality Investment Sales team, including oversight for the West Japan region. Most recently, Uenishi executed and closed four hotel transactions in 2023 from JLL’s Tokyo office. Prior to joining JLL, Uenishi served as Executive Director at Westmont Japan Investments K.K. where he was responsible for deal sourcing and acquisition, disposition and asset management for Westmont’s hotel portfolio in Japan.
Kuniko Tsushima, Senior Vice President, will lead Advisory and Asset Management services in Osaka and West Japan. Prior to joining JLL, Tsushima served as Regional Director at IDeaS, a SAS Company, primarily consulting on revenue management solutions for Japanese hotel chains, Tsushima also has more than 15 years of extensive experience in the hotel industry including working for Marriott and IHG in commercial roles both domestically and on international assignments.
Since the launch of JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group Tokyo office in 2000, JLL has advised on 117 hotel transactions, representing 28,530 rooms. In 2023, in the Kansai region, JLL Hotels & Hospitality advised on the sale of SH by the square hotel Kyoto Kiyamachi, Hotel Resol Kyoto Kawaramachi Sanjo, and Swissotel Nankai Osaka.
