Langham Hospitality Group announce several key appointments, marking an exciting development for The Langham, Melbourne. These appointments are part of a company-wide transfer within Langham Hospitality, with talent moving from Cordis, Auckland to bolster the team in Melbourne.

The Langham, Melbourne announce the following appointments:
Lucas Gougeon – Hotel Manager, The Langham, Melbourne. Lucas Gougeon has been appointed as the new Hotel Manager for The Langham, Melbourne. Lucas brings a wealth of experience to this role, having spent the past 12 months gaining an in-depth understanding of hotel operations through Langham Hospitality Group’s APEX (Advanced Program for Executives) programme. Reporting to Jeffrey van Vorsselen, Lucas will oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the hotel, playing a pivotal role in driving The Langham, Melbourne’s culture of excellence. He commenced a secondment period on 8th July 2024 and will officially transition to his role as Hotel Manager in September.
Lee Guo – Executive Housekeeper, The Langham, Melbourne. Joining the team as Executive Housekeeper, Lee Guo brings over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Lee will report directly to the Hotel Manager and will be instrumental in upholding The Langham’s brand standards, ensuring that housekeeping services align with the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
Evanda Yam – Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, The Langham, Melbourne. Evanda Yam has been appointed as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage. With more than 16 years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry and a proven track record in hospitality management, operations, and team building, Evanda is set to play a key role in further enhancing The Langham, Melbourne’s dining experiences. Her energetic and passionate approach to hospitality will be invaluable in this new position.
Kim Read – Director of Sales, The Langham, Sydney. Kim Read has been appointed as the new Director of Sales at The Langham, Sydney. With over 15 years of experience in the hotel and hospitality industry in Sydney and London, Kim has a strong background in driving strategic sales initiatives and building successful partnerships. Reporting to Shane Jolly, General Manager, Kim’s leadership will be key in driving business improvements and fostering a high-performing team environment.
