One of the Sunshine Coast’s most alluring investment opportunities, the Greg Norman-designed Pelican Waters Golf Course and adjoining Lakes Edge residential precinct, is being offered for sale by CBRE’s Rem Rafter and Brendan Robins.
CBRE, together with the Greg Norman Company, has been appointed to manage the sale campaign for the 160ha Pelican Waters Golf Course and new residential precinct, which has been earmarked for 211 residential lots and three medium density sites (subdivisible for up to 259 lots).
The 20ha residential precinct is designed to be delivered over four stages, with stage one approvals in place for 60 residential lots, including those with golf course frontage.
The development site comprises an array of parkland fringed lots, peninsular waterfront lots and a 1ha medium density lot suitable for apartments, villas, retirement or a small lot precinct.
CBRE’s Brendan Robins said the property represented an outstanding opportunity to capitalise on the strong demand for quality land and housing in a sought after area of the Sunshine Coast.
“Located within pristine bushland and waterside enclave, the Pelican Waters Golf Course and adjoining Lakes Edge residential development is ideally positioned within the master planned Pelican Waters residential community – home to some 6,500 people,” Mr Robins said.
“Lakes Edge offers a diverse range of staged development options, including a large scale retirement community, which take advantage of the area’s tranquil, picturesque and secure setting.”
The Greg Norman-designed golf course is one of Australia’s top courses, currently ranked as the top course on the Sunshine Coast by Golf Digest Magazine.
CBRE’s Rem Rafter commented: “Lakes Edge is one of only two possible remaining new land releases in the locality, located five minutes to Caloundra, 90km to Brisbane and 25 minutes from Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. With population growth within Pelican Waters 24.5% over the five years to 2016, the precinct is expected to experience strong demand from new residents looking to move into the area.”
The Lakes Edge precinct is located in proximity to the new Pelican Waters Marina Precinct and existing local shopping, including Coles and Woolworths supermarkets, medical facilities, restaurants and schools.
The property is being offered for sale via Expressions of Interest closing 8 August 2018.
