The Don Pancho Beach Resort in Bargara was offered for sale via an Expressions of Interest campaign, with CBRE Hotels’ agents Hayley Manvell and Wayne Bunz exclusively appointed to manage the sale.

The agents declined to comment but industry sources say the asset sold for around $5 million.
The buyer is a Queensland based owner-operator who is expected to do a substantial refurbishment of the iconic resort.
The hotel was operated as a timeshare property at the time of sale and sold under instructions from the statutory trustees.
The 3.5 star rated resort is situated on a freehold 3,940sqm beachfront site in Bargara – a seaside town, 14 kilometres east of the Bundaberg CBD.
The resort offers frontage to Kellys Beach and is situated opposite the Bargara Golf Club.
