Mount Hawthorn community landmark, The Paddington Ale House sold to family-owned hospitality operators, ARK Group by Ryan McGinnity of CBRE.
ARK Hospitality Group are proud to be the new owners of a Mount Hawthorn community landmark, The Paddington Ale House.
The sale of the 1930’s historical pub, marks the first time the site has changed hands in the last 4 decades. The sale was negotiated by Ryan McGinnity of CBRE, with settlement set to occur mid-April.
The award winning, family-owned group, have been developing pubs for over 45 years, including the current restoration of another historical site in WA, The Bassendean Hotel which is set for reopening later this year.
ARK Group will be receiving the keys to The Paddington in April; however, the pub will continue to trade as normal over the months to follow. The groups plan for the revitalisation of the site will be unveiled later this year.
“The Paddo is the cornerstone hotel of Mount Hawthorn and we’re proud to take on the custodian role of a pub with such a rich history dating back to the 1930’s” says Adam Kapinkoff, ARK Group General Manager.
“Mount Hawthorn is a vibrant place to be, with an impressive line-up of restaurants, cafes and retail outlets – we’re looking forward to playing a role in this community and offering them a local everyone can enjoy”.
ARK Group intends to explore the revitalisation of the 90-year-old landmark pub later this year and develop a local with a strong community, family and food focus.
