Gunnedah Hotel sold to Sydney-based publicans by JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group's Kate MacDonald and Greg Jeloudev.
JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group is delighted to announce the sale of the freehold going concern of Gunnedah Hotel in Gunnedah for an undisclosed amount.
Located 40 minutes from Tamworth, in one of the fastest growing agricultural centres in NSW, the large format hotel sits on close to 3,000sqm, with 12 GMEs, public bar, bistro with several dining areas, beer garden, 28 refurbished accommodation rooms (10 with ensuites), and off-street parking.
The purchasers are Sydney-based publicans who have negotiated a short sale-and-leaseback agreement to ensure minimal disruption to the hotels management whilst the new owners prepare for the handover.
The vendors exclusively appointed JLL Vice President Kate MacDonald and Executive Greg Jeloudev to market the hotel in a formal Expression of Interest campaign in September this year.
Ms MacDonald noted, “Gunnedah Hotel is possibly one of the best regional inspections of 2022, so it comes as no surprise that the campaign was hotly contested, and the pricing landed right within the guide. Our vendors should be extremely proud of what they have achieved in Gunnedah, and we look forward to the new owners taking the keys in due course.”
The JLL Hotels & Hospitality team are busy finalising a number of transactions prior to the Christmas break and look forward to making more announcements in the coming weeks.
