The Sunset Tavern at 2 Ward Street, Karumba sold to a private buyer through Leon Alaban, Taylor Morris and Joseph Ganim of Savills Hotels.
The Sunset Tavern, located at 2 Ward Street, Karumba, has been sold to a private buyer following a successful and competitive expression of interest campaign which yielded over 70 enquiries.
Karumba is a coastal locality in the Shire of Carpentaria. The town is a well-known fishing destination and industrial port, situated at the mouth of the Norman River, where visitors from all over Australia arrive to try their luck in the fish-rich waters of The Gulf of Carpentaria. It enjoys the accreditation of being the only town along the southern Gulf of Carpentaria that is within sight of the Gulf itself.
The Sunset Tavern is located 2,154 km* north-west of Brisbane, 69 km* north from Normanton and 452 km* north of Cloncurry. It is positioned on a 3,037sq m* corner site accessible via Ward Street and Palmer Street.
The Sunset Tavern’s facilities comprise of a Public Bar, Bistro, Alfresco Dining Area, Beer Garden, Gaming (12 EGMs), TAB and Keno facilities, Staff Accommodation, Manager’s Residence and an on- site Bottleshop.
