One of the only pubs in the World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest region has been listed for sale as part of a portfolio of accommodation and hospitality assets.
The Daintree Village Hotel & General Store is being offered for sale individually or on an all-in-one line basis with the Daintree Ecolodge and Red Mill House Bed & Breakfast.
The Expressions of Interest campaign is being steered by CBRE Hotels’ Wayne Bunz and Hayley Manvell.
The Daintree Village Hotel & General Store is located on an expansive 2,023sqm freehold land parcel. The hotel, which is currently operating for takeaway alcohol sales only, is a fully commercial licensed business offering indoor and outdoor dining options, a commercial kitchen, bottle shop, three walk-in cold rooms and a walk-in freezer.
Mr Bunz said, “As the only pub-style offering in the Daintree Village, the hotel is both highly popular with local residents and the many visitors using the village as a base to explore the wider Daintree region.”
Situated directly right of the hotel is the General Store, which offers basic groceries and is the region’s Australia Post outlet. The store is also the village’s courier drop-off and pick-up collection point.
Behind the hotel and store is a three-bedroom home, which could be utilised as a manager’s residence, in addition to more vacant land.
